Museum Slager

Behind the magnificent façades of Museum Slager you will find art pieces created by the Bossche family Slager. The founder is Petrus Marinus Salger, works by his sons Piet and Frans, his daughters Jeannette and Corry, his daughters in law Suze and Marie, and his grandson Tom are also part of the collection. Eight painters of three generations in one family! It is exceptional.

On display are oil paintings, water-colour paintings, drawings, and etchings by the Slager family. You will see vieuws of the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch’ early days, landscapes (of which many in the province of Noord-Brabant), the Belgian Kempen and southern Europe, as well as vieuws of villages, still lives, and portraits.

In addition to the Slager family collection, the Museum also offers temporary exhibitions by various other artists.
