It is the pride of 's-Hertogenbosch: St. Johns Cathedral. The cathedral can be seen from all corners of the city, and is extended far above the city. In 1380 they started building this cathedral in gothic style. Characteristics are the pointed arches, large windows and crossbows at the outside of the building. In total, the cathedral has around 600 figurines, mostly symbolical ones. On the outside, you will see animals, monsters, and people. The arches are luxuriously decorated with 96 figurines. St. Johns Cathedral was and still is a national monument, which can be admired from the many terraces at the Parade.
